Is Big Brother on tonight? Unlocked schedule, HOH, time capsule winner

Week 2 of “Big Brother” season 28 has arrived in full force.

After the first houseguest was evicted during the first live vote of the season, the second head of household was crowned not long after and the first houseguest has since entered the “Big Brother” Time Capsule.

Moreover, lines are being drawn in the sand and a blossoming romance between two houseguests has reached the next level.

It’s all leading into Friday’s nomination ceremony with clear divisions apparent.

The bi-weekly “Big Brother: Unlocked” would have a lot to discuss if it aired on Friday, July 17.

Here’s what to know about “Big Brother” season 28, including spoilers, the “Unlocked” schedule, where to watch, live feeds info and more:

Is Big Brother on tonight?

“Big Brother” is not on Friday, July 17.

It’s a week off for “Big Brother: Unlocked,” the BB talk show that has returned this season.

BB Unlocked schedule

“Big Brother Unlocked,” which breaks down gameplay and shares insider perspectives with a couple BB legends, premiered last Friday on July 10.

But there won’t be an “Unlocked” episode this week. The next “Unlocked” episode is Friday, July 24. Episodes will air every other week throughout the season.

BB winners Taylor Hale (season 24) and Derrick Levasseur (season 16) and actor Jerry O’Connell host the show taped in front of a studio audience.

What day is Big Brother on?

“Big Brother” can be on your screen every day if you watch live feeds.

What nights are Big Brother on?

The edited episodes of “Big Brother” are on three nights a week on CBS.

The nights are Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Episodes begin at 7 p.m.

Who was evicted on Big Brother?

Ashley Trail was the first person evicted on season 28 during the Thursday, July 16 episode.

She was voted out on a 14-0 vote.

It’s the first time in “Big Brother” history that a houseguest has been voted out by that margin.

When went home on Big Brother?

The 24-year-old Chicago bartender was put on the block during the Power of Veto meeting earlier in the week as a renom after POV winner Mallory took herself off.

Trail, who had never eaten a hamburger before entering the house, was then up with Taylor Brown and Yash Patel. The three competed in the inaugural Block Buster challenge of the season with the winner getting off the block.

Patel won the competition during the live episode on July 16. That kept Trail and Brown on the block.

Trail didn’t have any connections in the house and despite what appeared to be an attempt at keeping her from one of Dee’s groups in the house, that plan didn’t come to fruition as no one wanted to make any major waves yet. Ashley’s loose lips to another side of the house when told about a potential plan to save her also didn’t help.

She departed, though, with a smile on her face.

Ashley Trail

It was nice knowing you, Ashley.

Big Brother Spoilers: Who won HOH on Big Brother?

For the second straight week one of the “Survivor” alums is running the house.

First it was Dee Valladares as the Week 1 Head of Household and now it’s Rick Devens.

He won the HOH competition on Thursday, July 16. The competition, which took place after Thursday’s live episode aired, will be shown during Sunday’s episode on July 19.

CBS Big Brother voting

America had been voting this week for who they wanted to send into the first Big Brother Time Capsule competition of the season.

It’s a new competition this season. One houseguest will compete in the challenge each week over the next six weeks. It’s another layer to the game and involving the fans. A power or a punishment from “Big Brother” past was at stake.

The houseguest entered the Time Capsule on Friday after voting closed.

BB time capsule

BB 26 alum Angela Murray received the most votes and entered the Time Capsule.

Live feeds have revealed that Murray failed at the competition. As a result, she has earned a punishment.

Her punishment is that she has to wear a detective egg costume that BB 27 runner-up Vince Panaro wore last year.

The Time Capsule competition will be shown during the edited episode on Sunday, July 19.

Where to watch Big Brother live, stream

Stream “Big Brother” episodes live on Paramount+ with a Premium plan. That costs $13.99 per month.

Episodes can be streamed the next day on Paramount+ with any plan. Plans start at $8.99/month.

Where to watch Big Brother live feeds

If you want more Big Brother and to see what’s happening before the episodes air and an unfiltered and unedited look at the houseguests, “Big Brother” live feeds are for you.

Live feeds are available on Paramount+ and PlutoTV and for a select time after each of the episodes on the “Big Brother” YouTube page.

Who was nominated on Big Brother

Nominations haven’t happened yet as of 5 p.m. Central time but they’ll happen at some point on Friday. They’re taking place a little later than usual due to the new Time Capsule competition.

Based on the conversations that have happened overnight, the nominations are expected to be Melody, Jason, and Lyric.

Rome remains a backdoor target as the real backdoor target.

Live feeds went down just before 5:40 p.m. CT so the nomination ceremony is likely happening.

Rome and Lyric, in a BB showmance since Day 2, told each other that they loved each other overnight.

Why did Rachel leave Big Brother 28?

Rachel Reilly meeting her untimely demise by a velociraptor during the season premiere on the first night was a shock just as much as her entering the house again.

It was goofy but it was Big Brother to its core.

But her appearance was actually just a cameo. The former BB winner was never going to be a cast member this season. Her appearance was just a fun twist during this Time Trip of a season. And it then made for an even bigger surprise with her “replacement” being “Survivor” winner Dee Valladares.
