MSU Board Crisis – Michael Balow

📺Eileen Tesch – Living Exponentially 💥💡

Mike Balow was elected to the MSU board of trustees in November 2024, beginning his term in January 2025. Mike is a commercial real estate professional who is originally from Detroit, MI. Other than several years in the U.S. Navy, Mike has made Michigan his home and is the proud father of three daughters, along with his wife Debbie.

Mike ran for the MSU seat in 2022, and narrowly lost, but was able to get it across the finish line in 2024. Mike is the only Republican on the 8-member MSU board, and has tried to bring transparency and sound business practices to decision making at MSU, which has an annual budget of over $3.5 Billion dollars. Higher education in America has reached a point where the value of a 4-year degree is being questioned, and there is no time like the present to focus on doing what is right for our families and the young college age men and women right here in Michigan.
