An 18-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a van in Muskego July 17, the Muskego Police Department said in a news release.
Members of the Muskego Police Department and Tess Corners Fire Department responded to the two-vehicle crash at approximately 11:21 p.m. on Woods Road near Parkland Drive.
Officers found the motorcyclist with severe injuries. Despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 48-year-old male driving the van was taken to hospital with minor injuries. He was treated and released.
Police said preliminary information indicated the van was driving westbound, while the motorcycle traveled eastbound. The motorcycle crossed the center line, striking the van. Neither vehicle had passengers.
The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene to conduct a crash reconstruction.
Police said the investigation of the crash is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
