Rest easy, Lower Hudson Valley. Trader Joe’s lemon-flavored mini sheet cake is finally back for the spring.
And not just because Westchester resident Martha Stewart said it is, though she did, noting it’s arrival in a post on her Facebook account Thursday, April 28.
A walk around the Larchmont Trader Joe’s at lunchtime confirmed it Friday, May 1. Visual contact made. At least four of the lemon-flavored favorites were accounted for.
The cake apparently has quite the following — Marthastewart.com noted conversation on Reddit about the cake’s reappearance for the season.
And the headline of a Parade article back in late March went this far: “Trader Joe’s Fans Threaten to ‘Riot’ Over Missing Seasonal Favorite.”
“The Lemon Mini Sheet Cake has a passionate fan base, and they are getting antsy that they haven’t been able to acquire it yet in 2026,” the Parade article said.
