While a movie is being filmed in the City of Poughkeepsie, parking will be limited and motorists may experience extra traffic.
According to the city, filming for “Zero Protocol” is taking place May 1 at the Dutchess County Office Building at 22 Market St., but filming will continue downtown and in other city locations through May 5. Filming may potentially continue on May 6 as well.
There will be no filming May 2-3.

What is the movie ‘Zero Protocol’ about?
According to IMDB, “Zero Protocol” is going to be a zombie, action and horror movie starring Rebecca Hall.
Directed by Debs Paterson and written by Dan Hall, who also wrote the 2024 film “The Silent Hour,” “Zero Protocol” follows the story of an NYPD Commissioner battling to manage a sudden, deadly outbreak.
But the commissioner discovers her teenage daughter is trapped in the middle of a “red zone,” according to IMDB.
Filming for ‘Zero Protocol’ on May 1: Here’s where and the closures
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., filming for “Zero Protocol” will take place at 22 Market St. and 11 Cannon St. in the City of Poughkeepsie.
No parking will be available on the full block of the east side of Market Street between Main Street and Cannon Street. Additionally, no parking will be available on a third of the north side block of Cannon Street between Market Street and Academy Street.
At 126 Cannon St. is the movie set’s basecamp. The lot is full of trucks, so you may not be able to find parking or parking may not be available.
According to the city, one police officer will be present on set during filming.
Filming for ‘Zero Protocol’ on May 4: Here’s where and the closures
From 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., filming for “Zero Protocol” will take place at 295 Main St. and on Garden Street in the City of Poughkeepsie.
There will be intermittent traffic control on Main Street between Market and Catherine streets. Although the south side of Main Street will remain open for all types of vehicles.
No parking will be available on a third of both sides of the block on Main Street between Market and Catherine streets.
As well, no parking will be available on a third of the north side block of Cannon Street between Market and Academy Streets.
Additionally, no parking will be available on the full block of the south side of Alleyway between the Civic Center Plaza and Garden Street.
The movie set’s basecamp will continue to be at 126 Cannon St., and the lot is full of trucks, so you may not be able to find parking or parking may not be available.

Filming for ‘Zero Protocol’ on May 5: Here’s where and the closures
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., filming for “Zero Protocol” will take place at 4 Liberty St., on Garden Street and at 13 Academy St. in the City of Poughkeepsie.
There will be intermittent traffic control on Academy Street.
Similar to the day before, no parking will be available on a third of both sides of the block on Main Street between Market and Catherine streets, and no parking will be available on a third of the north side block of Cannon Street between Market and Academy streets.
Again, no parking will be available on the full block of the south side of the alleyway between the Civic Center Plaza and Garden Street.
The movie set’s basecamp will continue to be at 126 Cannon St., and the lot is full of trucks, so you may not be able to find parking or parking may not be available.
