Greenburgh police are investigating a possible double murder-suicide after three people with gunshot wounds were found in a house in the Parkway Homes neighborhood.
Police said that patrol and EMS officers were conducting a welfare check early in the afternoon, Thursday, April 30, when they entered the house and found the victims. Two were pronounced dead at the scene and another a short time later at a hospital.
“We have reason to believe that this was an isolated domestic violence incident, and we do not believe that there is any danger to the surrounding community or public,” police said in a news release.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Greenburgh police at 914-989-1725.
