Florida baseball’s next opponent is Alabama in the 2026 SEC Tournament.
The No. 5 seed Gators (38-18) defeated No. 12 Vanderbilt 8-3 in the second round on May 20. The No. 4 Crimson Tide (37-18), which received a double bye, finished 18-12 in the SEC regular season.
The Gators likely need to defeat Alabama to stay in contention for a top 8 national seed.
Florida was swept by Alabama in Tuscaloosa this season where UF was outscored 28-11. The Tide’s ace pitcher Tyler Fay threw the program first solo no-hitter since 1942. It was also the first time UF was no-hit since 1963.
The game will take place 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Mississippi State/Georgia game (which begins at 3 p.m. CT) and will be televised on SEC Network.
