The Gators are a No. 5 seed in the tournament this year after finishing the regular-season schedule with a 37-18 overall record and an 18-12 mark in SEC play. Kevin O’Sullivan’s squad won their last three series as well as eight of their last nine coming into play.
The Commodores are the No. 12 seed and earned the right to play the Orange and Blue by virtue of an 8-5 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats in the opening round on Monday. Vandy wrapped up the regular season with a 33-24 overall record that includes a subpar 14-16 mark against conference foes, but has won four straight.
Florida will meet for the first time in 2026 on Wednesday and hold a significant edge in the all-time series with a 148-85-1 tally dating back to 1927.
