Winer Haven lawyer appointed to circuit bench to replace Ellen Masters

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has announced the appointment of Taylor Bowman of Winter Haven as a circuit judge in the 10th Judicial Circuit.

Based in Bartow, the circuit covers Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties.

Bowman, a partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson since 2018, previously served as an assistant state attorney for the 10th Judicial Circuit. He earned his bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University and graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Bowman fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Ellen Masters.
