Are Florida women still on ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’? See episode 5 recap

The “most successful dating show in the world” still has two women from Florida looking for love with one of three fine farmers. “Farmer Wants a Wife” Season 4 premiered in April, with almost 30 women looking for love and a homesteading husband.

After episode five, there are only nine women left.

The Florida women didn’t get much airtime in episodes 2 and 3, but last week’s fourth episode brought solo dates and plenty of time on screen for both of them, while five other women went home. The fifth episode this week brought three eliminations and some drama with one of the Florida women.

Here’s how the Floridian women fared on this week’s episode of ‘Farmer Wants a Wife,’ who has been eliminated so far and how to watch the show.

Neither of the Florida women on the show received much airtime in the second and third episodes, but last week’s episode had a lot more screen time for the Floridians. Both women received solo dates and became frontrunners in their dating pools.

This week’s episode started strong for Floridian Emily, who had a solo date with Sean last week.

“I would say Emily has definitely taken advantage of all the little moments to build on our connection,” Sean told the camera on a group date. “It really strengthened on our date at the winery, and I started to really fall for her.”

Her connection struck the other women the wrong way, with a few of them pointing out that Emily gets the most attention from Sean and that he naturally gravitates toward her. This led to a rumor that spread later in the episode, that Sean told Emily he would be picking her in the end.

According to Rheanna, who joined the group of women as a new addition in episode three, Emily told her that Sean said his decision was already made. According to Sean, he said no such thing. Regardless of his reassurance that it was a rumor, Macey decided to eliminate herself and go home.

On Braden’s farm, Braden eliminated Schyler after realizing their connection wasn’t as strong as his connections with the other women.

On Brett’s farm, all was quiet with no eliminations, as he didn’t send anyone home and already had his top three women heading into the week.

Back on Sean’s farm, he chose to send Rheanna home, telling her that her goals to become a surgeon didn’t align with his lifestyle. She told him that her future husband would support her endeavors and that it clearly wouldn’t be him.

In the end of the episode, Sean confronted Emily about the rumor that she said he’d chosen her to be the final pick. The conversation ended on a positive note after Emily told him that she hadn’t said that and may have said something that was misconstrued by the other women.
