The past three times Big 12 track and field teams have convened for conference championships, Texas Tech track and field teams have done a lot of celebrating at the end.
The Tech women and men swept the team titles at this year’s Big 12 indoor championships in Lubbock and at last year’s indoor and outdoor meets at Lubbock and Lawrence, Kansas, respectively. The Red Raiders will try to bring home more hardware for the trophy case this weekend in Tucson, Arizona.
The three-day meet unfolds Thursday, May 14, through Saturday, May 16, at Arizona’s Drachman Stadium.
Here’s a primer for the meet.
