Abilene coffee connoisseurs and caffeineaholics, prepare. A second location of a popular coffee franchise is opening soon in the Antilley Shopping Center.
Summer Moon Coffee, a regional coffee shop chain originating in the Texas Hill Country, has filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to begin renovations on an existing 1,875-square-foot lease space in the Antilley Shopping Center, 6950 S Clack St.
According to the TDLR report, construction is scheduled to begin Aug. 24 with an estimated completion date of Nov. 30.
The estimated project cost is $300,000 according to the TLDR report.
Summer Moon opened its first Abilene location in the Allen Ridge Shopping Center, 2443 N. Judge Ely Blvd., in August 2022, serving their signature oven-roasted coffee and moon milk.
Founded in 2002 in Austin, Texas, Summer Moon has since expanded to 70-plus locations across 12 states.
