A man was shot multiple times while at a bar in Covington, according to police.
The shooting happened at Hat Trick’s Bar on Madison Avenue early in the morning of May 17, police said in a news release.
Covington police were called to the bar around 1:18 a.m. and found a man shot when they arrived at the scene, the release states. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and listed in critical condition.
The suspect fled before officers arrived at the bar, police said, adding that investigators do not believe there’s an active threat to the public.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Covington police investigators at 859-292-2234 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040. Police are also asking residents and business owners near the bar to review their surveillance footage for video to aid the ongoing investigation.
