Meeting attendance is limited to the first 500 people who join the meeting, according to the meeting notice.

The agenda includes two topics, “Revisions to the Board of Trustees’ Code of Ethics and Conduct” and “Personnel Action.” The board’s meeting agendas typically include links to documents trustees will be considering, but the published agenda for Sunday night’s meeting has no additional details.

The board had not been scheduled to hold a regularly scheduled meeting until June 12.

MSU spokesperson Amber McCann told the State Journal that the meeting notice was posted to the university’s website about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 16.
