A 46-year-old man was outside a home loading a utility trailer when he was struck by the driver of a white van, who police say fled the scene. Attempts by first responders to save the man’s life were unsuccessful. He died of his injuries at the scene.

The person driving the van, as well as the vehicle’s make and model, is currently unknown, according to police.
