A piece of Akron was a small part of the recent epic wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
The Don Drumm Studios and Gallery said a guest at the wedding last weekend in Madison Square Garden in New York City purchased a piece of art from the Akron studio to give as a gift to couple.
The piece is “The Wedding Couple” pewter ornament by artist Leandra Drumm.
The studio notes that the ornament is an appropriate nod to when Cleveland Heights native Travis Kelce showed up in London during Swift’s Eras Tour and proposed.
“Travis, dressed in a full tuxedo and top hat, walked on stage towards Taylor,” the studio noted on social media. “He then swept her off her feet and carried her across the stage during the concert.
“Don Drumm Studios and Gallery is happy to have contributed to even a small part of their special day.”
The ornament sells for $24.
Aside from the distinctive artwork from artist Don Drumm and his daughter Leandra and other artists, the studio is known for its elaborate gift wrapping of its pieces.
And the gift for what is being billed as the celebrity wedding of the year was no exception.
