All-Americans from Horseheads, Ithaca, and Corning headline the Section 4 boys lacrosse award winners and all-stars for the 2026 season.
Earning USA Lacrosse Scholastic All-America recognition were Corning junior Kohl Hogue, Horseheads senior Boe Briggs, and Ithaca senior Quentin Getzin.
USA Lacrosse Academic All-Americans from Section 4 for 2026 are Elmira Notre Dame/Watkins Glen’s Samuel Hohle, Horseheads’ Zachary Bennett, and Vestal’s Michael Hogan.
Binghamton’s Jack Brunner and Whitney Point’s Bill Davis were named USA Lacrosse Coaches of the Year for Section 4, with Owego Free Academy’s Christopher Dotson named Assistant Coach of the Year.
Steve Monks, a longtime lacrosse and boys basketball coach at Horseheads, was named Section 4 Boys Lacrosse Person of the Year. Monks died May 16 of brain cancer at age 65.
The awards were announced in conjunction with Section 4 all-stars, as selected by the coaches.
