The injury bug continues to strike the Iowa football team.
After being down numerous key contributors entering Saturday’s Cy-Hawk game, the Hawkeyes lost tight end Addison Ostrenga in the first half. And another key offensive player went down in the third quarter.
Gennings Dunker was a preseason all-Big Ten right tackle and an absolute stud on the offensive line. However, he went to the blue medical tent following Iowa’s field goal drive that tied the game at 13.
This would be a major blow to the Iowa offensive line if Dunker can’t return. However, it seems like the preseason All-Conference lineman might be trying to give it a go, according to Iowa beat writer Chad Leistikow.
Fans will have to wait and see if Dunker returns to the game on Iowa’s next drive.
