CREVE COEUR — After a year of temporarily closing for building renovations, the former Crusens Rt 29 & Whitey’s BBQ is coming back.
The Creve Coeur establishment, located at 1007 N. Main St., announced on Facebook that it would hold a soft opening 7 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12. The sign now reads “Whitey’s 29 powered by Crusens.”
“Start your morning with breakfast, swing back for BBQ and burgers, and enjoy gaming all day long,” the restaurant posted.
Whitey’s closed last October due to demolition work on the front of the building. The restaurant continued to offer catering during the closure.
Other Crusens locations can be found at 2117 W. Farmington Road in West Peoria and 426 E. War Memorial Drive in Peoria.
