After winning state title, Washington HS girls basketball coach steps down

Washington girls basketball will have to replace their state championship-winning coach.

Kim Barth has stepped down as the Washington girls basketball head coach. She led the Panthers to the Class 3A state title last month, completing a 35-2 season and the program’s first-ever state title.

In 10 seasons with Washington, Barth went 247-63 (.797), won six regionals, led the Panthers to a 2025 Class 3A state third-place finish and posted seven seasons with 24 or more wins.
