As the girls soccer season really gets heated up and firing, we gave you a chance to check out some of the stars and predict who you think would be the best of the best in the Rockford area.
You voted, and now that the poll is closed, it’s time to unveil the winner. This year’s Rockford-area Girls Soccer Preseason Player of the Year is Guilford’s Delilah Hawley.
Hawley transferred over from Boylan, and she has made an instant impact. Her teammate Azul Martinez came in second in the poll.
