The department said the fire was first reported at 2:24 p.m. at the 59900 block of Calle De Las Flores, which is off Highway 111 near Windy Point.

“The first arriving unit reported heavy fire and requested a 2nd alarm,” the fire department said in a post on X.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or other displacements. However, five residential structures were reported to be threatened.

In addition to the cargo containers, “several large debris piles” and power lines were also on fire, the department said.

This is a developing story and will be updated with new information.
