Saturday
Mexican: Since 2003, Banda MS has become one of the most prominent names in regional Mexican music with its full brass section and dynamic vocals featured in its traditional banda sound. Some of the band’s hits include “El Color de Tus Ojos” and “Que Bendicion.”
As Mexican music has become popular on both sides of the border, Banda MS are cultural ambassadors and have won multiple Billboard Latin Music Awards and an American Music Award, collaborated with Snoop Dogg on the song “Qué Maldición” and the song “141” was featured in the video game “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II,” which was a first for a Mexican music group.
In 2022, the band performed locally at both Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and then in 2023, the group performed at Acrisure Arena. Banda MS will return to the arena for another performance on Saturday.

Tribute: If you missed out on Weezer’s surprise performance during Weekend 1 of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, the next best thing may be the tribute band Weezerton, who will perform on Friday in the Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
Weezerton formed in 2014 and performs material going all the way back to “The Blue Album” and “Pinkerton” all the way through to “Van Weezer.”

Rock: During the 2000s, Los Angeles indie-rock band Silversun Pickups emerged with raw energy and a new sound featuring shoegaze and catchy melodies. The band’s concerts also attracted a growing fan base. Twenty five years and six albums later, Silversun Pickups is still going with its core lineup intact.
Silversun Pickups will perform on Saturday at Pappy and Harriet’s.

Rock: L.A. Witch, an all-female trio from Los Angeles, performs a hypnotic mix of garage rock, psychedelic rock and punk with a haunting aesthetic featured in every song in its catalog. The band became a cult favorite of the L.A. underground during the 2010s and has released three albums since 2017.
