NSCIF baseball playoffs brackets revealed for Divisions IV-VI

The brackets for the NSCIF Divisions IV-VI baseball playoffs were released on Wednesday, May 13.

Durham earned the No. 1 seed in the Division IV bracket after a stellar 26-1 season. The Trojans sole loss of the season came against Las Plumas, the No. 4 seed in the Division II bracket. Redding-area teams U-Prep and Central Valley earned the No. 4 and 5 seeds, respectively, and will face off in the first round.

Los Molinos, Hamilton and Biggs took the Nos. 1-3 spots in Division V followed by Etna and Mt. Shasta at No. 4 and 5. Mt. Shasta enters the playoffs on a five-game winning streak. The last time the Bears suffered a loss was on April 24 at Etna.

Redding Christian earned the No. 3 spot in Division VI behind No. 1 Maxwell and No. 2 Loyalton. The Lions will host No. 6 Hayfork in the first round as they look to win their third straight game.
