Amazon Prime members are just weeks away from scoring discounts on brands like Sony, Dyson, Tarte Cosmetics, and more with the return of Prime Day in July.
Whether you’re waiting for Prime Day to score back-to-school deals or to replace items around your kitchen, the multi-day event has long been popular among shoppers wanting discounted items and speedy delivery.
This year’s Prime Day is July 8-11, but Amazon isn’t waiting until then to start offering deals. Here’s what to know.
Prime Day deals: See what you can score before Prime Day 2025
Electronics, kitchen, beauty, and apparel are just some categories of goods you can find deals on during Prime Day.
This year, Amazon is introducing themed, daily deal drops called “Today’s Big Deals.” Amazon said these deal drops will feature “some of the most exciting deals of the event.” These special offers will launch at midnight daily and remain available for a limited time while supplies last.
Amazon announced on June 16 which deals it’ll offer early for Prime members. Here are just some of the early deals:

Do I need an Amazon Prime membership to participate in Prime Day?
You’ll need a Prime membership to shop for all the deals on Prime Day, said Amazon. Those interested in a membership can visit amazon.com/prime to get started. A monthly Amazon Prime membership is $14.99, or you can pay $139 for the year.
Can I get a free trial for Amazon Prime?
Eligible customers will see a free 30-day trial button when they visit amazon.com/prime, according to Amazon. Visit the “Manage Prime Membership” in your account if you want to cancel it.
