Four Circles Brewery is closing in Brighton. Here's what to know

The owners behind a Brighton microbrewery have decided to close as its owners prepare to move.

Four Circles Brewery announced it is closing in a social media post June 24. Owners Nick and Colleen Miller are moving to Florida to pursue full-time job opportunities and focus on spending more time with their daughters.

The microbrewery at 709 W. Grand River Ave. opened in 2023 and has since made a name for itself in Brighton. It was voted Livingston County’s best brewery in a 2025 poll by the Livingston Daily.

Despite the closure, the Millers shared the business is “growing and doing well.”

This “difficult decision” was made after “a lot of late nights, long conversations and a few tears,” they wrote, adding that Florida is also where their oldest child hopes to attend college.”After a lot of reflection, we’ve realized we’ve missed too many moments, and we don’t want to miss any more,” the post reads.

The business will remain open through July 18, but adjusted hours will begin on July 4. Customers can expect the microbrewery to be open July 4-5, 9-11 and 16-18. Four Circles will be closed June 28-July 3 as part of a previously planned closure for a vacation.

The Millers shared how “incredibly grateful” they are for the craft, community and family they have created.

“The friendships, conversations, celebrations and support you’ve shared with us have meant more than you’ll ever know,” they wrote.

Members of the microbrewery’s Mug Club program are encouraged to keep an eye out for emails for details and exclusive updates. Anyone interested in taking over the microbrewery or the space are asked to reach out.
