Florida State is currently hosting a group of key targets for visits. One of them is taking his first trip to see the Seminoles, and it’s blue-chip 2028 offensive lineman Anthony Blalock.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder has gained a plethora of offers in April from Louisville, UCLA, Pittsburgh, and North Carolina. FSU has now added its name to the offer list of Blalock as of Saturday.
Other programs such as Ohio State, Penn State, and Indiana have also extended offers to Blalock. Earlier this week, he took a visit to see Notre Dame. This makes up some very tough competition for Florida State in regard to getting Blalock to commit.
Rivals’ industry rankings have Blalock listed as the nation’s No. 296 overall recruit and the No. 23 offensive tackle. In the state of Ohio, Blalock is the No. 10 prospect.
The Seminoles need to lock in an official visit with Blalock now that they’ve offered him.
