Millions around the globe are tuning in to the World Cup games, particularly in Florida, which is one of several host states for the 2026 games.

What is the 2026 FIFA World Cup? What is the soccer, football game schedule?
The global soccer tournament began June 11, 2026, and is poised to be the largest in history, with 104 matches played across 16 cities in three countries: Mexico, Canada and the United States. In the U.S., Miami is acting as a host alongside Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia and East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The tournament kicked off with Group A matches in Mexico City on June 11, with the host nation, Mexico, facing South Africa. The World Cup will run until July 19, 2026.
When is the next Miami World Cup match in Florida?
A total of seven FIFA World Cup 2026 matches were scheduled at Hard Rock Stadium, renamed Miami Stadium for the World Cup, at 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens, Florida. It is roughly 15 miles north of downtown Miami and 17.5 miles from Miami Beach. For those coming from the airport, it is 14 miles from Miami International Airport (MIA).

LEGO unveils FIFA World Cup trophy build set
The LEGO Group has joined in on the FIFA World Cup fun with its nods to football (or soccer in the U.S.). via minifigs and World Cup memorabilia.
The LEGO FIFA World Cup Official Trophy build is part of the LEGO Editions sets with 2,842 pieces. The trophy features the iconic globe and plaque with a hidden compartment that reveals a soccer scene with an included minifig and minifig FIFA World Cup trophy.
