A dog rumored to belong to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made its first public appearance Sunday at the newly renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport near West Palm Beach.
Photos shot by the website TMZ and the New York Post’s Page Six show Kelce carrying the pooch off Swift’s private jet on July 12. Kelce gathered luggage from the plane while the dog, believed to be a Samoyed, followed him down the stairs. Swift did not appear in the photos.
Neither Kelce nor Swift, famously a cat person, has confirmed they own a dog. Speculation began in March, when video surfaced online showing a similar white dog stepping out of a car alongside Swift’s security team in New York City.
The airport sighting comes nine days after Swift and Kelce married at Madison Square Garden in New York. The couple honeymooned briefly in Montana, then flew to Southern California on July 9 to attend NFL player JuJu Smith-Schuster’s wedding in Orange County on July 11.
Celebrity flight trackers suggest Swift’s Falcon 7X flew to West Palm Beach from Burbank, California, the following day, before departing again to Morristown, New Jersey. While Kelce’s appearance at the airport raised the possibility of a Palm Beach-leg of their honeymoon, no other sightings in the area have been reported.
A multimillion-dollar mansion Kelce rented at the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club in Boca Raton served as the couple’s South Florida home base last summer. The popstar and Chiefs tight-end were spotted at the Meat Market steakhouse in Boca Raton, Harry’s Bar and Restaurant in West Palm Beach and the Buccan eatery in Palm Beach weeks ahead of their engagement announcement.
“This was our Florida summer, one hell of a drug,” Swift said last year on Kelce’s podcast, referencing her song “Florida!!!”
“We really Florida’d it up.”
