A 47-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday, Nov. 13, in Menomonee Falls, police say.
At 11:49 a.m., the Menomonee Falls Police Department responded to a call about a significant motor vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 41 at Highway 145, according to a Nov. 13 news release from the department.The investigation showed that a sport utility vehicle driven by the 47-year-old woman struck the rear of a slowing semitrailer, according to the release.
The woman, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
The Menomonee Falls Fire Department, the Germantown Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted the Menomonee Falls Police Department.
