The Oregon Ducks are making their move in the class of 2026 recruiting cycle. After sitting with single-digit commitments and in the bottom half of the Big Ten up until late June, the Ducks are now vaulting toward the top of both the conference and the national rankings.
That significant move is due to a few blue-chip commitments since the start of July. The program first added four-star OT Tommy Tofi on Wednesday, then followed with a commitment from five-star iOL Immanuel Iheanacho on Thursday. Notably, Iheanacho is 247Sports’ No. 8 overall player in the class of 2026 and No. 1 interior offensive lineman.
The top-ranked lineman is Oregon’s third five-star commitment in the class, tying the program with Alabama for the most in the nation. While the Ducks are unlikely to near USC’s volume of 30 total commitments and 20 blue-chip players, the program has a real shot to end the cycle with the nation’s highest average player rating. In other words, the Ducks boast as much, if not more, top-end talent in the class as any other program in the country
For specifics on where Oregon now ranks, plus how far middle-of-the-pack classes, like those of Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan State, must go to match the Ducks, here is how the full Big Ten breaks down in 247Sports’ updated team composite rankings for the class of 2026.
