NBA playoff TV schedule tonight, where to watch Knicks vs Cavs Game 4

Cleveland Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson says his team is beating the New York Knicks “analytically” in their Eastern Conference finals series.

But the scoreboard, especially at this time of year, is all that matters.

And what that says is that the Knicks are up in the series, 3-0, putting New York on the verge of its first NBA Finals appearance in 27 years. And that has left Atkinson’s team one loss away from elimination heading into Game 4 on Monday, May 25 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

The Knicks, winners of 10 straight postseason games with an NBA-record +225 point differential during this stretch, will look to clinch their third straight playoff series on the road and win the Eastern Conference for the first time this century.

And if the first two series-clinchers are any indication, Cleveland better watch out. The Knicks blew out the Atlanta Hawks by 51 points in Game 6 of their first-round series victory and pounded the Philadelphia 76ers by 30 points to complete a dominant sweep in the second round.

Another sweep for the Knicks is in sight.

Since their playoff winning streak started exactly one month ago, five of the Knicks’ wins have come at home and five on the road. Their five road victories have come by nearly 25 points with all by double-digit margins.

The latest came in Game 3 in Cleveland when the Knicks never trailed, jumped out to a 10-point lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 121-108 victory.

Led by All-NBA second-team honoree Jalen Brunson (30 points), Mikal Bridges (22 points on 11 of 15 shooting) and OG Anunoby (21 points), every Knicks starter scored in double figures, in addition to Landry Shamet’s 14 points (4 of 5 on three-pointers) off the bench as the team shot a blistering 56% from the field.

The Cavs, despite what the analytics might say, have had no answer for the Knicks since blowing a 22-point fourth-quarter lead in Game 1. Now, they’ll try to stave off elimination at home and keep their season alive at least two more days by forcing a Game 5 back in New York.
