The Wisconsin Badgers recently had their rivalry with Minnesota named one of the nation’s best, and that assessment is also shared by CBS Sports.
Tom Fornelli was tasked with ranking the Big Ten’s top 10 rivalries, a task that is no easy feat.
Not surprisingly, Michigan and Ohio State topped the list. For at least the foreseeable future, that’s the clear-cut No. 1 rivalry in one of the nation’s most stacked conferences.
Right behind the Wolverines-Buckeyes is Minnesota-Wisconsin, a rivalry that has been gaining traction these past few days.
Shockingly, that’s not the only Badgers rivalry Fornelli listed in his top 10. Going lower on the list, Iowa and Wisconsin clocks in at No. 7.
Going into the 2026 season, Wisconsin fans know they will witness both the No. 2 and No. 7 rivalries in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin heads to Iowa on Halloween (Oct. 31) and finishes the year at Camp Randall against Minnesota on Nov. 28.
Fornelli’s complete top 10 list can be found below:
