The Milwaukee Police Department is searching for 13-year-old Zamira Satchell, who is considered critically missing.
She was last in contact with her mother at 7 p.m. May 19, and was last seen around the same time near North 21st Street and West Hampton Avenue in Milwaukee, according to a police news release issued May 25.
Milwaukee police said the teen was described as 5 feet tall and weighing about 100 pounds. She was last seen with her hair braided into two puffballs and was wearing a black and grey Nike Tech jacket, black leggings and white and blue Jordan shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police District 7 at 414-935-7272.
Police use the “critically missing” label for people who could be especially vulnerable due to a variety of factors.
