A critically missing 8-year-old boy was found safe May 25, Milwaukee police said.
The boy went missing around 3 p.m. Monday and was last seen in the 2000 block of South Sixth Street. Police issued a critically missing alert for him around 6:30 p.m. the same day.
About four and a half hours later, police said the boy had been found safe and cancelled the alert.
Police use the “critically missing” label for people who could be especially vulnerable due to a variety of factors.
