HMS Mobile Auto, 1272 Parkview Road, provides professional mobile automotive maintenance and repair services. Ron Franklin, CEO and president of the company, said he provides services including oil and tire changes, brakes, cabin and engine filter replacements and spark plugs.
“We also do other mechanical work [like] valve cover gaskets, new alternators, new batteries, those sort of things,” Franklin said.
Franklin previously served as director of entrepreneurship for the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce and later as vice president of operations for On Broadway Inc. He started HMS Mobile Auto in October, opened its headquarters in January and hired staff in May.
The booking process is simple, he said. Customers can book a service on the website or by calling or texting 920-309-6110. The system is fully automated and allows customers to select the service and location. The HMS Mobile Auto website says they service Green Bay and surrounding areas; Franklin said he has customers as far as Madison and Milwaukee.
“Whether it’s at the home, their office, a supporting event, whether it will be for the weekend, whatever it is, put in that address, we can go out there and service it,” he said.
Franklin said servicing other companies and their corporate vehicles is a big part of the business because it helps companies save time and money. For example, a heating company with a fleet of vehicles can have its trucks serviced early before crews head out to jobs, rather than taking them to a shop and waiting 45 minutes or more.
“Their vehicles never have downtime and it never impacts their daily schedule,” Franklin said.
For residential customers, mechanics work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., but Franklin said they can do as late as 6 p.m., depending on what the service entails.
