Packers had 5 of NFL's top 100 catches from 2025 season

The Green Bay Packers were featured five times (at least in a positive light) in the NFL’s highlight package of the top 100 catches from the 2025 season. The team’s top catch came in at No. 38 overall.

Trigger warning: While the Packers made the list five times, they also allowed several of the top catches. So prepare to see Green Bay on the wrong side of a few highlights, or turn off the video once you see No. 38.

Here’s a closer look at the five Packers catches highlighted:

No. 97: Josh Jacobs vs. Broncos

One of the more underrated plays from the Packers 2025 season. On 3rd-and-goal, Jacobs completed the high difficulty catch, beating the trailing linebacker and making the contested grab along the boundary for the score.

No. 95: Matthew Golden vs. Cowboys

One of the first big plays of Matthew Golden’s young career. Someone ran the wrong route on 3rd-and-9, as both Golden and Dontayvion Wicks were in the same area down the field, but it was Golden who ended up making the catch in traffic to convert.

No. 78: Romeo Doubs vs. Bears (playoffs)

This catch really should have been something close to a dagger at Soldier Field. On 2nd-and-8, Doubs won from the slot and made an incredible one-handed catch in Bears territory with just over three minutes to go.

No. 57: Christian Watson vs. Giants

Watson’s spinning catch in traffic gave the Packers a lead late in the fourth quarter of a win over the Giants at MetLife Stadium. Watson adjusted to the throw, spinning to the back shoulder, and then competed the contested catch in the end zone.

No. 38: Dontayvion Wicks vs. Lions

The incredible catch from Wicks in the end zone on 4th-and-2 helped put the Packers up 10-0 in the second quarter of Green Bay’s 31-24 win over the Lions at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day. Despite bracket coverage and a rapidly closing safety, Wicks was able to secure the catch, get two feet in bounds and maintain control while going to the ground. A worthy selection for the Packers’ best catch of 2025.
