Wisconsin’s We Energies recommends the ideal summer thermostat temperature is 78 degrees Fahrenheit, similar to other energy companies throughout the U.S.
Temperatures should be raised eight degrees when you’re away from home and four degrees overnight, the company says.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Energy recommends keeping temperatures comfortable at levels that provide humidity control, while trying to keep indoor and outdoor temperature differences low.
