On the final day of Summerfest 2025, fans of Part Time Models, Van Jaeger and The Warning have a 50/50 chance of getting rained on and a 100% chance of being sweaty as temperatures reach a heat index of 95 to 96 degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, July 5 is forecast to be very warm and mostly sunny in the Milwaukee area, with a 50% chance of light showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the afternoon.
Later in the day, as Summerfest headliners close out the night, showers are far more likely, at 80%.
Disappointment is in the forecast for concertgoers who were hoping to see country singer Nate Smith, who was slated to headline the UScellular Connection Stage July 5, but canceled due to “vocal health concerns.”
But revelers can still enjoy acts like Third Eye Blind, The Lumineers and Babymetal, when it may be wet but certainly cooler, getting to the low-70s by midnight.
When temperatures reach 95 degrees and above, Ready.gov recommends wearing loose, lightweight and light-colored clothing, finding shade and wearing a hat. In addition:
