“The greatest gift” is on the way for Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Blake Perkins and his wife, Falyn.
The couple − who tied the knot at the beginning of the year − are expecting. Blake, who was optioned to Class AAA Nashville last week, and Falyn made the announcement in a joint Instagram post on July 16.
“The greatest gift and responsibility we’ve ever been blessed with, the first addition to our family – coming late 2026. ” the post was captioned.
The casually sweet photos the couple shared included one of Falyn facing Blake with her arms around his neck, holding the strip of ultrasound images in her hand over his back; a picture of Blake sitting on a chair, holding the baby bump, with Falyn leaning in with her arm around him − both beaming; and more.
Falyn was in an all-white summery ensemble − what looks to be this Abercrombie & Fitch lace-trim cinched button-through cami, and a pair of white pants. Blake sported a beige short-sleeve button-down with jeans.
“the best parents already so happy for you guys,” commented influencer Tatum Beck, who was also at the Perkins’ wedding.
One year ago, Falyn shared on Instagram that Blake had proposed. She posted several photos of him on one knee by the blue waters at Narragansett Beach in Rhode Island. On Jan. 25, Blake and Falyn got married at Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.
In other recent Brewers-related baby news, injured starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff and his wife, Jonie, welcomed their third child earlier this week.
