Twenty gunshots were reportedly fired at Tiefenthaler Park on July 16, damaging neighboring homes, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 4:35 p.m., deputies arrived at the Milwaukee park, 2501 W. Galena St., where they found several gun casings in the area. No reports were made of anyone shot, but a few homeowners told deputies their houses were struck by gunfire.
Authorities said they expected a large portion of the park to be closed for up to three hours to maintain security at the scene and interview witnesses.
Descriptions of suspects were not immediately available, deputies said.
