New London Police have arrested a suspect after someone was found dead.
The New London Police Department and New London Fire Department responded to the Franklin Park Apartments on July 26 at 505 Division Street for reports of smoke in the building.
One person was found dead inside, and police found the circumstances suspicious. Following an investigation, a suspect was found and taken into custody.
The victim’s identity is being withheld until the family has been notified. The investigation is ongoing.
