Election Day has come and gone, leaving voters with answers on who is their party’s nominee in the 2026 General Election in Texas.
However, in Lubbock County, some primary races have no clear winner.

In Texas, for a candidate to win the party’s nomination during the primary, they must earn 50% of the vote plus one vote.
If no candidate achieves that, the top two candidates head to a runoff election, currently slated for Tuesday, May 26.
Here’s a look at Lubbock County races that have the potential to go to a runoff once election results are certified.
