The UTEP football team is subbing a trip to Las Vegas for a trip to Fargo, North Dakota.
The Mountain West Conference released a revised list of opponents for each team in the league in 2026, necessitated when North Dakota State joined the league earlier this month, and UTEP is picking up a road trip to North Dakota State while losing its game at UNLV.
A full schedule with dates will be released “in the coming weeks” per the Mountain West, which announced the revised list of opponents Tuesday.
UTEP’s Mountain West Sun Bowl home games are Hawaii, Nevada, San Jose State and Wyoming. The Miners will travel to play Air Force, New Mexico, NIU and North Dakota State. UNLV is the only program in the 10-team football league UTEP won’t play next season. In nonconference games, UTEP will host Oregon State and Texas Southern, while playing at Michigan and Oklahoma.
