Horizon, Riverside HS baseball teams lose close games in UIL playoffs

The area round of the 2026 Texas UIL baseball playoffs began Thursday night for five El Paso teams in Classes 4A and 5A.

On Friday, May 8 a total of eight teams will compete. Winners in the area round advance to the regional semifinals scheduled for May 14-16.
