San Angelo rodeo clown, princess contest happening soon

Here’s how to enter your kids in the clown and princess contest for the 2026 San Angelo Rodeo, according to a Facebook post.

The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Ambassadors are hosting the clown and princess contest at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7.

Wear your best rodeo clown or rodeo princess attire for a brief interview at City National Bank at 2909 Sherwood Way.

The rodeo is from April 3-19 this year.

The selected 2026 rodeo clowns and princesses will go down on the arena floor at their assigned rodeo performance during the Mutton Bustin’.

The age range is for children pre-kindergarten to elementary school aged.
