Days after McDonald’s released its new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Hello Kitty toy, the hamburger chain is releasing a new Happy Meal collaboration.
South Korean boy band BTS will make an appearance as the next Happy Meal toy on Wednesday, Sept 3, according to McDonald’s social media pages. The seven members of the global K-pop group will be in TinyTAN form — animated characters based on BTS members.
The toys will be available for a limited time at participating McDonald’s, according to the post.
It’s not the first time that McDonald’s has collaborated with the global superstars. In 2021, the BTS Meal was launched at participating restaurants nationwide, which included 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Coke, and sweet chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea.
