The deputies met with the victim about 7:40 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, at a home in the 600 block of Paseo Modesto Drive near Eastlake Boulevard and Darrington Road in Horizon City.

The victim told deputies that Gonzalez followed the victim to her house and damaged property, the news release states. No information was released on what was damaged.

She added that she feared for their safety because of prior incidents, the news release states. Deputies obtained surveillance video that allegedly showed Gonzalez using a drone to monitor the victim’s home.

Deputies found Gonzalez in the 13000 block of Powick Drive in the Eastlake area. He was arrested without incident.

The deputies executed a search warrant on Gonzalez’s vehicle, where a drone and controller were found, the news release states.

Gonzalez was booked into the El Paso County jail on Saturday, May 23, on a bond originally totaling $27,000.

An El Paso County magistrate judge granted a bond reduction request during a Monday, May 25, bond hearing, court records show. The bond was lowered to $15,000. Gonzalez posted bail and was released from jail the same day, jail logs show.
