The Texas A&M softball program has received a commitment from Houston outfield transfer Jordee Wilkins. She announced the news Wednesday on social media.
Wilkins spent the past three seasons with the Cougars, playing in 119 games with 64 starts. She is a career .292 hitter with 16 doubles, 27 RBI, and 64 runs scored.
She started 13 games as a true freshman in 2024 before having a breakout sophomore season in 2025. The Houston native hit .336 with 13 doubles, 22 RBI, and scored 43 runs. She finished with a .466 on-base percentage and a .586 slugging percentage, starting all 45 games in center.
Wilkins was unable to build on her success in 2026 and fell out of the starting lineup. She played in 37 games but made just six starts, going 4-24 at the plate with one walk and four strikeouts.
Texas A&M has added five players through the transfer portal this offseason as they look to take another step after going 38-19 last season and falling in the College Station Regional. The class is headlined by pitcher Madison Azura, the No. 9 player in the portal.
