Cincinnati Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase and head coach Zac Taylor had an interesting sideline exchange during Monday night’s thumping at the hands of the Denver Broncos.
The Monday Night Football cameras caught Chase going up to Taylor and pleading his case about something during a commercial break. As expected, the footage quickly went viral on social media.
It’s not hard to see why Chase was upset, either. Just before this, quarterback Jake Browning threw a pass out of bounds on 3rd-and-17 with his team down 21-3.

Not only that, the Bengals had just 141 total yards of offense and eight first downs at that point in the game. The Broncos had 400 and 22 in those same areas.
This wasn’t a fight between the two by any means. But the overall body language on the sideline and the fact this even has to happen sort of says it all:
